And God, It Just Feels So Good

One: Writing a song in full for the first time since I was probably fifteen.  We’re tracking a second guitar on the practice track, and I’ll write the lyrics and vocal line.  I can’t remember the last time I smiled so sincerely, so brilliantly.

Two: Interacting with the manuscript one-on-one for several hours straight, and adding all edits and new thoughts.  It honestly halts me to know that for the first time ever, it reads straight through for more than one-hundred fifty pages.  This is real, isn’t it?

Three: A DIY house show out in Hadley, Mass and subsequent photoshoot for photography thesis.  The frames look surprisingly varied, and, quite honestly, beautiful.

I’m excited to sit down and reflect legitimately on what’s been going through my creative mind (such hubris!) but this weekend has been a welcomed whirlwind.  So, for now, I think I’ll simply breathe.
